The iconic bright red Italian symbol of passion and unrestrainedness was created by Gaspare Campari in 1860 in the city of Novara. Gaspare came from a simple farming family. As a teenager, working as a waiter, he was fascinated by what people drank. Over time, he opened his own successful business - in his cellar he experimented with the production of various drinks, which he offered to guests. That's how Campari was born one day. The preparation recipe consists of more than 60 natural ingredients (bitter herbs, aromatic plants, fruits) that are macerated in alcohol and water. The production process is still the same today, but it is controlled in detail by only one person in the world - the director of the factory where Campari is produced.

Campari is a distillate that we consider an aperitif, but it also serves as the basis of world-famous cocktails, such as the Negroni. It is best enjoyed as a spritz: with soda, lemon juice or prosecco.
