This rum matures for 5 to 15 years in a unique version of the solera system - in fired and unfired American whiskey barrels, after maturing sherry, and in port wine barrels. It has a complex and distinct aroma of burnt wood with a subtle touch of vanilla in the background, where we also discover green apple, dried cranberries, lemon peel, dried orange and pepper. It's a seductive, dry rum that literally explodes on your palate. The taste is perfectly complemented by notes of wood from barrels, candied fruit, cherries, ripe fruit and spices - cloves. It has a long and mature finish.

It is aged in the same way as its younger version, but contains rums aged up to 18 years. It has pleasant, elegant and sophisticated aromas of wood, roasted cocoa, vanilla, caramel and after a while also nuts, dried cranberries, spices and orange peel. It is a full, juicy, dry and explosive rum with great depth and naturally sweet notes. Its taste is accompanied by notes of candied fruit, spices (cloves, nutmeg, pepper), roasted cocoa and citrus. It has a long, smooth finish.

Botran Cobre is a unique spiced distillate created from rums that are aged for 5 to 20 years in unroasted and medium-roasted barrels. The unique taste of this limited edition is created
by distillation in copper kettles, inside which is placed a basket of cardamom, cinnamon, ginger and cloves. The process, during which notes of spice are introduced into the steam, gives Botran Cobre not only its unmistakable character, but also its name ("cobre" in Spanish means "copper").

Botran Guatemalan rum is made from virgin sugarcane honey. The product has the protected designation of origin AOC "Ron de Guatemala". Botran Rare Blend Ex-Agave Spirit Cask is the third limited edition of the Rare Blend series - a special selection of rums from the brand's archives, which are finally stored in agave distillate barrels.
The rums underwent dynamic maturation in 5 different casks: American whiskey, re-fired American whiskey casks, sherry casks, port casks and finally tequila casks.

From the sugar cane to the final drop in the bottle; all production processes take place in Guatemala, which is why Botran carries the Protected Designation of Origin (PDO) label.
It is a blend of rums aged 8 to 20 years, matured in the Quetzaltenango mountains at an altitude of 2300 meters. It is gradually matured in American whiskey barrels, medium-roasted American whiskey barrels, sherry barrels, port barrels and finally in Spanish wine barrels from Burgos, Ribera del Duero.
Guatemalan rum Botran comes from the same distillery as Zacapa. Botran is made using the solera system – layering rums of different ages. The oldest rums are at the bottom, the youngest rums at the top. The rums are added gradually and finally mixed into the final blend. Botran rum has a light taste, with hints of walnuts and pecans, and goes well with cigars. Rums from Guatemala are unique in that they are distilled from sugar cane syrup, not molasses or fresh juice.
