Rum has an intense dark amber color. Complex aromas are combined by the delicacy of nuts and also the strength of oak. The very balanced taste is characterized by honey notes of molasses, along with notes of oak, cocoa and citrus.

Auténtico Nativo 20 YO is a light amber colored rum. It has an intense aroma of roasted nuts, caramelized peaches and bananas. The taste is dominated by oak and minerals, nuts, burnt cedar and oak wood.
It is best enjoyed, like the 15 YO version, with ice or a few drops of water. "20 years" on the label means that the rums that make up the contents of the bottle have matured for at least 20 years (not the solera system).
Auténtico Nativo comes from the central region of Panama Herrera, surrounded by the Pacific Ocean on one side and rainforests on the other. The area is rich in fertile volcanic soil, thanks to which the local cane has a very high sugar content and the molasses from it is ideal for rum production. Rum Nativo is produced at the Las Cabras distillery from molasses by continuous distillation in a classic copper still from 1922.
Aged for 15 years in fired American white oak barrels after bourbon. First, it is filtered through cellulose membranes, followed by cold filtration. Behind its flavor profile is an icon among modern rum blenders, Francisco "Don Pancho" Fernández.
