The product is baked from ripe pears of the Williams variety. After distillation, it is stored in oak barrels, where it ages for 12-18 months. Then they soften it by adding natural extract from dried Williams pears. This extract gives the award-winning Fassbind a delicately elegant, sweet flavor with intense pear notes.

The noble Swiss products of Fassbind have been renowned for their high quality for decades. They are characterized by a clean and full taste. Ripe raspberries from the Walis region are macerated for a full 6 weeks and then carefully distilled using traditional methods. After a year of aging in oak barrels, Fassbind Vielle Framboise is softened by the addition of natural dried raspberry extract. It thus acquires a pleasant fruity taste reminiscent of raspberry jam, which underlines the soft and intense finish.
