Wild Turkey originates from the top of the hill of the same name in Lawrenceburg, Kentucky, where it has been produced for 75 years. Whiskey is created using water from the Kentucky River, which is naturally filtered through limestone, a native strain of yeast and a secret ratio of corn, rye and malted barley. For maturation, it is stored in barrels fired to level 4, the so-called alligator char, which is the deepest burn possible. Whiskey Wild Turkey is characterized by a distinctive, yet subtle character.
